Not that it’s an earth-shaking announcement or anything, but I’ve decided to dedicate all my available hours in the rest of the month and February to meeting a big editorial deadline.
My silence does not connote agreement or disagreement with any of the world’s madness that’s sure to transpire! My best advice: keep your heads about you and hold onto hope.
I’ll be back in March. Wish me luck, please, with the “Second Edit” of my much neglected manuscript
G’night and good luck …

You go Les! If anyone can do it – YOU can do it! See you in March! Go show e’m how it’d done!

You are hopelessly biased, Colleen Darlin’. That’s only one of the many reasons I love you!

All the best, Les. Look forward to having you back.

Go for it, Les! I’m so eager to see your book–but I’m eager to see your return to your blog, too, which both Eric and I love. Good luck!

Go, Les ! Hit the deadline out of the park. March, it is.

You’re such a pal …

Sometimes silence is golden; please let us know what you’re working on so we can have something to anticipate other than daffodils. See you in March, when perhaps we will have something green growing here in the heartland. My 97 year old mother (who lives in Salem) and I still have a competition about whose tulips, etc. come up first; she always wins!

Daffodils may be all to expect, Elizabeth! I’m trying to finish a novel (political thriller). Given that this is my first try at fiction and given the financial crush of the publishing industry (and, hence, its reluctance to take a chance of first-time authors), I would, if I were you, bet on the certainty of the daffodils. But attempting this book is part of my “bucket list,” regardless of may happen. Finishing the “try,” itself, will be a triumph of sorts.

So Les:
I was watching a recorded version of Blue Bloods last night and I see in the credits, “Kelly AuCoin”. I never knew. How exciting! What other programs should I be looking for?

They come one at a time, Ginny, so it’s hard to know. I thought congressional life was fickle. It’s nothing compared with show biz.
