IT’S TIME TO TRAVEL TO BORA BORA

Bora Bora is a small island about six miles in length and is among the Leeward Islands of French Polynesia. The Islands experience a tropical climate which attracts travelers from all over Europe and the rest of the world. Vacationing in Bora Bora will give you an experience like no other.

There are vast majority of water-based attractions, pastimes, and pleasures on the Bora Bora island group. Most of the people who travel to this destination come here to spend some time away from the daily hustle and bustle. Explore the highest point on the island on mount Otemanu and enjoy the turquoise lagoon which form part of the Polynesia’s most beautiful locations.

Don’t expect to get around using public transport since there is none. Rental cars and bicycles are used instead. You can travel the main island within three hours. Some of the things you can’t miss during your vacation here include hiking Mt. Pahia and Ohue, seeing Manta rays, and exploring the beautiful coral gardens. Tourism is the main industry on this island meaning you can expect the best for your money.

The main language spoken here is French, Tahitian, and Bora Bora. You’ll, however, find many other people speaking English.

When is the best time to travel to Bora Bora?

The answer to this question depends on your personal preferences and expectations. I had some tree removal done by a great arborist in Arizona, and he visits Bora Bora once a year. He prefers to come during the summer, to get a break from the crazy heat there. The high season in Bora Bora runs from May to October while the low season begins in December and ends in March. Visitors avoid the wet weather between December and March. Bora Bora generally experiences warm weather throughout the year and you can visit any time. However, the best time to travel here is between November and April when the crowds are less and the rates are much lower.
